Class Description: Free Admission: VAM’s Aldo Parisot Cello Ensemble and Flute Ensembles present their first joint concert. Enjoy an evening of music written for these two unique yet melodic ensembles.

Koerner Piano Trio | Suk, Beethoven & Ravel

Class Description: The Koerner Piano Trio presents a varied program of music for an enthralling afternoon. Conceived as a result of chamber music evenings with friends, Suk’s Piano Trio No. 1 opens the concert with powerful, accented chords boldly stated by all three instruments. Beethoven’s Piano Trio Op. 70, No. 1 follows, a piece known by the name “Ghost” because of the dark melodies and tense atmosphere in the middle movement. To close is Ravel’s Piano Trio in A minor – a masterfully written piece that showcases a balance between the violin, cello and piano, a real treat to listen to.
