VAM’s Music with Friends is a place where children ages 3-5 can explore the joys of creativity, collaboration, fun, and imagination as they embark on the journey of learning a new instrument. These classes are designed for the young child eager for their first experience with an instrument in a pressure-free environment and will equip them with the tools to succeed in future musical studies, personal growth, and social development.

Learn the fundamentals of music reading and ear training
Establish strong essentials of holding the instrument, posture, and movement
Build a foundation for private lessons and ensemble performance

Class Description: These cute kitties will introduce your child to the elements of ‘purrformance’ through the flute. This class will focus on creating a strong foundation of effective breath control, tone development, and musicianship. This is a full year class from September-December (14 weeks) then January-May (16 weeks) Parent participation required.
