Certified by the Institute for Vocal Advancement and the Royal Conservatory of Music, Sarah Rose is a voice teacher, vocal coach, and theatre director with extensive experience in both Canada and the US. Deeply committed to her ongoing professional development, Sarah offers a unique range of experience from classical and contemporary singing techniques to actor’s voicework. Off Broadway, Sarah was the associate director and music supervisor/vocal director for ‘VERY MERRY… LIVE!’. In Canada, Sarah has mentored with the Playwrights Guild of Canada, served as musical dramaturg for the award-winning musical ‘STATISTICS’ (Canada Council for the Arts Award), and directed productions like ‘DANNY AND THE DEEP BLUE SEA’ (BroadwayWorld Vancouver Awards for Best Director and Best Play) and ‘HAPPY DAYS’. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia, and a certificate in Advanced Directing from the National Theater Institute, where she received the Eugene O’Neill Theater Center Scholarship.
