Sarah Tatto

Sarah Tatto holds a Bachelor of Music Performance degree from the Vancouver Academy of Music. Sarah’s voice studies have taken her to Edmonton, Portland, New York and most recently, Los Angeles. She has studied extensively in Europe, having participated in several international music academies and festivals, included two summers in Salzburg Austria, studying at the Mozarteum; in Urbania, Italy performing in an opera program with the Manhattan School of Music; performance and studying in Modena, Santa Marghertia Ligure, Florence, Pietra Santa and the Truscia Opera festival, singing the role of Gilda from the opera “Rigoletto.”

Sarah has been a recipient of the Barbara Eves-Motomochi Memorial fund from the Vancouver Opera Guild, has been a finalist with Jeunes Ambassadeur lyrique, was a finalist in the Spoleto/Vancouver voice competition, is alumnus of the Vancouver Opera in the School Touring Ensemble and has been a chorister with the Vancouver Opera.

Sarah is a member of the Canadian Actor’ Equity and the British Columbia Registered Music Teachers Association.
