Welcome to Cellofest!
The 2020 Aldo Parisot Cellofest at Vancouver Academy of Music consists of three days of competitions and masterclasses that culminate in a much anticipated Cellofest Gala Concert featuring winners of the Cellofest Competition. Mr. Aldo Parisot was a legendary pedagogue who inspired numerous generations of aspiring cellists, serving as a distinguished faculty member at numerous leading schools and festivals including Yale School of Music, Juilliard School, and the Banff Centre.

Competition
The 2020 Aldo Parisot Cellofest Competition offers three cello students scholarship awards and a performance at the Cellofest Gala Concert. The Competition is open to students who are currently or have previously enrolled in VAM private lessons for cello, ages 26 and under.

Masterclasses
Sixteen cello students will be selected to participate in the Cellofest Masterclass Series. Participants are not required to be current or past students of VAM.
