Workshop participation & masterclass audit: open to the public
Masterclass performance: VAM voice students only

On Friday January 30th from 6-9PM, VAM will offer a unique opportunity for voice students to learn from professional musical theatre artist Josh Graetz in a workshop/masterclass format at Koerner Recital Hall. Whether students are looking to prepare for Festival, auditions, or simply to gain confidence in their stage presence and musical storytelling, this event will offer students of all levels an opportunity to learn something new and grow in their musical theatre skills.

SCHEDULE:
  • Friday, January 30, 2026, 6-9pm, Koerner Recital Hall
The evening will consist of:
  • Large group workshop on character work/storytelling through song, stage presence and audition prep
  • Masterclass opportunity for 5 students to perform and work with Josh Graetz more directly (25 minutes each, and open to audit by other workshop participants)
  • Q & A
REGISTRATION:
  • All interested voice students ages 11-adult are encouraged to register for participating in the workshop and auditing the masterclass.
  • Intermediate-Advanced level students are encouraged to register for the workshop & masterclass performance opportunity, which will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
FEES:
  • Workshop Participation & Audit of Masterclass: $20.00 (open to public)
  • Workshop Participation & Perform in Masterclass: $62.50* (VAM Voice students only)

*An additional collaborative pianist fee will be required from masterclass performers.
