Description:
AP Music Theory is an advanced course for high school students focused on the fundamentals of music notation, harmony, melody, rhythm, and form. Students will develop skills in sight-singing, dictation, composition, and analysis. The course prepares students for the AP Music Theory exam, potentially earning advanced credit or placement in many Canadian and American post-secondary programs. Students must register separately for the AP Exam.
