Description:
In this intensive, weeklong camp, piano students will take their skills to the next level and deepen their understanding and appreciation for the concerto repertoire. Daily schedule includes lessons, rehearsals, and masterclasses, culminating in a competition for the opportunity to perform as soloist with one of VAM’s orchestras. Participating students must prepare one movement of a concerto by J. S. Bach (any), Haydn (any) Mozart (any), or Beethoven (1, 2, or 3 only).
