Strawberry & Tea is back!
VAM is pleased to announce the return of the ‘Strawberry & Tea’ monthly concert series. Open to teacher submissions, these concerts celebrate all levels of musical learning at VAM. We invite you to use the online form provided to request your students to perform; all ages, experience levels, and instruments of study are welcome (subject to timing, and health order restraints).

TERMS OF SUBMISSION
Submission process
1. Submissions are first come, first serve
2. Only students submitted online will be considered.
3. Submissions must be made by a teacher.
4. You will receive an automated email when the form is submitted successfully, and a second email from VAM Administration when the student is confirmed to play in the concert. If you have not received these two emails, you are not registered and therefore unable to perform.
If you have questions or concerns about the submission process, or if you did not receive an automated email within a few minutes of submitting, please contact Mateo ([email protected]) or come to the front office during office hours.
Length requirements
The maximum performance time for each student is 8 minutes.
You may submit two pieces or movements (at the most) as long as they are both under four minutes. Otherwise, please submit only one piece or movement that meets the 8-minute maximum.
To promote enhanced public speaking and communication skills, each performer is welcome to announce their name, repertoire selection and accompanist (if applicable) before their performance.
Video recordings will be made available for a fee, and registration for recordings will be sent out to confirmed performers before the performance.

Declination of Submissions:
VAM administration reserves the right to decline submissions if the student has been absent without excuse for previous concerts if any of the terms stated herein are not followed, if the concert has already reached capacity (e.g., if a concert is filled outside the regular office hours of staff monitoring submissions and the form is not yet updated), or for any case deemed appropriate by VAM administration. Notice of declination will be sent promptly when the issue comes to the administration’s attention
