William Broverman is an in-demand freelance musician and educator in Metro Vancouver. He completed an undergraduate degree from McGill University in 2016 before serving four years as Bass Trombone/Co-Principal of the Orquesta Sinfónica de Yucatán in Mérida, Mexico.
Since returning to Vancouver in 2020, Will has enjoyed a busy performing career with the finest ensembles the region has to offer. This includes the Vancouver Symphony and Opera orchestras, Vancouver Legacy Jazz Orchestra, Hard Rubber Orchestra, and the Jazz Orchestras of Fred Stride, Jill Townsend, and Chris Berner.
Other notable mentions include appearances with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra and popular musicians Il Divo, Natalia Lafourcade, Terra Lightfoot, and Eugenia Léon.
While living abroad, Will was on faculty of the Merida International Brass Festival and an invited guest professor to the Conservatorio Plurinacional in Bolivia. He was the low brass professor at the ONEM (Orquesta Sinfónica de la Nueva Escuela Mexicana) in Mérida, Yucatán and a coach for the Banda Sinfónica de Yucatán.
Currently, Will is the associate conductor of the Richmond Delta Youth Orchestra and holds faculty positions at the Vancouver Academy of Music, Surrey Youth Orchestra, and Langley Community Music School.
