This musical drama is the journey of Renia Perel – a story of tragedy, survival, hope, and healing. Echoing fragments of Jewish tradition and culture in 20th – century Europe, Songs of the Wasteland is dedicated to Holocaust Remembrance and honouring those who risked their welfare for the Jewish people. This production features VAM faculty members in collaboration leading Vancouver musicians.
