‘Edwardian Secrets’ features the mystery of Elgar’s Enigma Variations, a piece said by the composer to contain a puzzle that has never yet been solved. Guest pianist Eric Xi Xin Liang joins VAMSO in Prokofiev’s formidable Piano Concerto No. 2 and a world premiere is unveiled, penned by VAM faculty member Douglas Gwynn Smith.
