VAM Symphony Orchestra features special guests Vancouver Bach Choir, Goh Ballet, and Bard on the Beach’s Christopher Gaze for an afternoon of storytelling through spoken word, music, and dance. Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf transforms the stage into a meadow clearing where a young adventurer interacts with lively animals in the countryside; bright youthfulness then meets an impassioned tale as the many emotions of tolling bells resound in Rachmaninoff’s The Bells.
