This elite chamber ensemble performs challenging repertoire from the Renaissance and Baroque periods in addition to 20th- and 21st-century compositions. With fast-paced, challenging rehearsals, Schola Cantorum is perfect for the experienced chorister who seeks the highest standard of excellence. This class is full year, two semesters of 10 weeks.
VAMFP is the ideal starting point for young string players who are new to ensemble music. Students will cover the basics of intervals, triads, basic key signatures, and terminology to improve their music reading proficiency.
Learn the basic elements of music notation including pitch, rhythm, scales, intervals, triads, transposition, analysis, and musical terms.Note: this course may be taken as either a single-semester or full-year course. Students may start single-semester classes in September or January.
