This is Semester Classes
Enjoy the rich, warm tones of the cello with our cuddly baby bears in this introduction to one of the low-sounding members of the string family. Cello Cubs will develop technical and performance skills that will provide a platform for lasting musical success. This is a half-year class commencing in January 2026! Parent participation required.
These cute kitties will introduce your child to the elements of ‘purrformance’ through the flute. This class will focus on creating a strong foundation of effective breath control, tone development, and musicianship. This is a full year class from September-December (14 weeks) then January-May (16 weeks) Parent participation required.
This class is a continuation of the Music With Friends: Viola Bunnies class. It is full year, Sept – May, with a maximum of 30 classes for the Academic Year.

Adult Strings Level II is tailored for adults with some experience playing their instrument, reading music, and participating in an ensemble. Vancouver Academy of Music’s Sea to Sky Chamberfest is an intensive, week-long experience in which advanced students are placed into chamber groups and prepare repertoire in a fast-paced environment.
